Cookies and device storage
AXIS has not configured advertising or behavioural tracking on this website. Browser storage is also used for sign-in, service protection and requested offline functions.

Website delivery
Hosting and security providers may use essential technologies to deliver and protect the service. The website uses device/system fonts and hosts its demonstration video locally. No advertising-consent banner is used for technologies that are solely necessary for a requested service. Any future use outside a valid exception must be assessed and controlled before it is enabled.
Sign-in and working session
The portal stores its current login session in browser session storage. Temporary audit queues and supported draft-recovery information may also use session or local storage. These support sign-in, recovery and the actions you request. Sign out using the portal when finished; closing a tab alone should not be treated as secure deletion of every local working copy.
Application cache
A service worker stores public application files so prepared portal functions can open without signal. Cache names start with axis-app-. Updates remove obsolete application caches. This cache is separate from the encrypted project database; application updates do not intentionally erase the project outbox. API responses and signed project downloads are not included in the application-shell cache.
Optional encrypted offline working
When you enable offline working, the browser database axis-offline-v1 stores encrypted project snapshots, drafts and queued attachments associated with your account. Your offline passphrase unlocks these local copies and is not your online password. It cannot be recovered by AXIS.
Prepared access expires after seven days until refreshed online. Queued records are retained and are not automatically deleted by that expiry. Reconnect and check successful server receipts before clearing website data or removing the app. A pending or failed item is not proof of server submission.
How to control and remove copies
Use your own secured device and sign out or lock it when unattended. Review the offline queue and resolve errors or conflicts while connected. When the required server records and attachments are verified, browser settings can remove the stored data for axisutility.co.uk, including the offline database and cached files. This may remove unsent work permanently. Contact support if you cannot verify a queue before device disposal or transfer.
Browser controls allow storage to be blocked or cleared, but blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in, recovery or offline functions. Uninstalling an app or disconnecting Google may leave copies in browser or connected-account storage; check each location.
Basis and changes
AXIS assesses each storage purpose under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Authentication, security, recording requested input and providing requested offline functions may qualify for applicable exceptions only when their conditions are met. Optional offline preparation is explained before activation. Agreeing to portal terms is not treated as cookie consent.
Contact info@axisutility.co.uk about storage privacy or support@axisutility.co.uk for help with a device. If the technology or purpose changes, this notice and any required choice mechanism will be updated before the new use.
